I don’t think a trip to Yosemite could ever be considered a mistake, but going during the 4th of July weekend might have been a little one. Trevor and I decided to celebrate Independence Day in Yosemite because America, but so did hoards of other people. Lines for Glacier Point lasted anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours. It was impossible to get around the valley because people couldn’t follow the rules of the road. But, we weren’t going to let our day go to waste. We parked our car on the side of the road and found a nice spot by Sentinel Beach for a picnic before we braved getting back in our car. Here’s a glimpse of our hectic day.
